# Temple of Olympian Zeus
Construction began in the 6th century BC and wasn't completed until Roman Emperor Hadrian finished it 638 years later. Of the original 104 Corinthian columns, only 15 remain standing, but their scale still impresses. This was once the largest temple in Greece.
